The articles, treatment pages, answers and cost guides on this website are written to help you understand dental health and your options. They are general information. They are not a diagnosis, and they cannot replace an examination by a qualified dentist who knows your history.
1. Not a substitute for an examination
Every mouth is different. Whether a treatment suits you, how long it takes, how it feels and what result it gives depend on your teeth, gums, bone, general health and habits. Only a dentist who has examined you, and taken X-rays or scans where needed, can advise on your situation.
Do not ignore professional advice, or delay seeing a dentist, because of something you read on this website.
2. Results vary
Descriptions of treatments, before-and-after images, reviews and patient stories show individual cases. They are not a promise that you will get the same result. No dentist can guarantee the outcome of a treatment.
3. Medicines
Do not start, stop or change any medicine, including painkillers and antibiotics, because of information on this website. Ask your dentist or doctor first, and tell them about any medical condition, allergy or pregnancy.
4. Articles by our dentists
Each article names the dentist who wrote it and shows when it was published or last updated. Articles reflect that dentist's understanding at the time of writing. Dental science and guidelines change, so an older article may not reflect current practice.
5. Costs
Prices and cost ranges are indicative. Your actual cost depends on your examination and treatment plan, and the clinic confirms it with you before treatment starts.
6. Summaries by search engines and AI assistants
Search engines and AI assistants sometimes summarise or quote our pages. Those summaries are produced by the service that shows them, and they can be incomplete or wrong. The page on this website is the version Dr C Dental Clinic stands behind.
7. Emergencies
- For heavy bleeding, swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or a serious injury to the face or jaw, call 108 or 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
- For an urgent dental problem during clinic hours, phone us on 096426 56568.
